A Playbook

Your Signature Method

Turn the way you already get your clients results into one repeatable process, distilled into a few clear milestones and given a name you can teach and market again and again.

Marc Teo, Master Implementers

The piece that sits between who you serve and what you sell

By this point you already know your business idea, who you are serving, and roughly what you offer. If any of that is still fuzzy, go back and work through the earlier lessons first, and ask for feedback if you are unsure.

This lesson builds the piece that sits between those two, your marketing and delivery process. Get this right and two things happen at once. You get a steady stream of content ideas, because every part of your process becomes a topic. And you get clear on exactly what you deliver through your programs, because you have finally written the process down instead of carrying it in your head.

By the end, you will have a first version of your own Signature Method, a repeatable process for getting your clients results, distilled into milestones, and given a name you can use again and again.

Four principles to build on

Keep these four in mind the whole way through. They stop you from over-building, over-teaching, and stalling before you even start.

1

Do not expect to be perfect

What you build today is the first version, not the final one. Include the bare foundational principles your clients need to get results, then keep improving it. Your best source of improvement is your own clients: the questions they keep asking, and where they keep getting stuck.

2

Keep it simple

Teaching advanced concepts does not mean your clients get advanced results. It usually just confuses and overwhelms them. Get clear on the 20 percent of actions that drive 80 percent of the results, and build around the steps your clients can actually understand and act on.

3

Do not sweat the small stuff

We all want a process that is beautifully designed, with perfect formatting, colors, and visuals. Before you spend time on any of that, ask one question: is this essential to helping my clients get results? If the answer is no, leave it for later.

4

The clearer you are on your audience, the easier this gets

Their problems, their pain, and the process they need to go through. Everything in this lesson comes back to how well you actually understand the people you serve.

The Hell to Heaven line

This is the core exercise for building your Signature Method. Picture a line with two ends. On the left is Hell, where your clients are right now. On the right is Heaven, where they want to be. Your whole method is the bridge between them.

HELL where they are now 4 to 6 milestones along the way HEAVEN where they want to be

Your method is the sequence of milestones that carries a client from Hell to Heaven.

Work through it in this order.

  1. Draw the line. Take a sheet of paper and draw a line with two endpoints. The start is Hell, the end is Heaven.
  2. Brainstorm both ends. List the top five to ten things that describe Hell, and the top five to ten that describe Heaven.
  3. Pick one of each. Get clear on the ONE definition of Hell and the ONE definition of Heaven you want this process to focus on.
  4. Brainstorm every action. List all the actions and steps required to get your clients from that Hell to that Heaven.
  5. Group into milestones. Distil that full list down into four to six key milestones. Always include one milestone for Foundations or Mindset. It comes first for a reason.

What happens at each milestone

Once you have your four to six milestones, you go two layers deeper on each one. First the content, then the challenge underneath it.

  1. Fill in each milestone. For every milestone, work out the key concepts and topics your clients need, the action items required to complete it, and any resources that would help, like tracking spreadsheets or tech setup.
  2. Go one layer deeper. For each milestone, name the actions your clients will take, and also name the core challenge they hit while doing it. This challenge layer is often where your best content and your best coaching come from, because it is the exact moment your clients get stuck.
Example: Marc's own map

How Marc mapped his own business, with the challenge layer added

  • 1. Foundations + Mindset Challenge: too many resources, too many options to choose from.
  • 2. Clarity of Purpose Challenge: perfectionism, overthinking, paralysis.
  • 3. Identifying your Priorities Challenge: feeling overwhelmed, switching halfway, confusion, unable to let go, fear of missing out.
  • 4. Planning your Goals and Action Plans Challenge: unclear, vague goals.
  • 5. Crafting your Process Challenge: inconsistency, unable to adapt, unexpected circumstances.
  • 6. Performing at Peak Energy Levels Challenge: unclear or vague goals, feeling guilty when resting, burnout.
  • 7. Sustainable Success Challenge: procrastination, lack of courage.

This is how Marc mapped his own business, shown here as a worked example. Yours will look different, because it is built from your clients and your process. Use his only to see the shape of a finished map.

Pick a shape, then name your model

Once your milestones are clear, distil the whole thing into one simple model you can say in a single breath. Give it a shape people can picture, then a name they can remember.

Then brainstorm a unique, memorable name for your model, something you can use over and over. Finding a name that sticks takes time, so do not expect it to be perfect from the very beginning, because it rarely is.

Names for reference only: X-Factor Method, Own Your Voice, Master Implementers, Strategic Attraction, NLP, HTC, UPW, Options Millionaire Intensive. These come from Marc's source material and are shown purely so you can hear what a memorable method name sounds like, not to copy.

Unload, Simplify, Repackage

Everything above collapses into a three phase process. This is the whole lesson in one view.

UNLOAD
get it all out of your head
  1. Focus on one to three case studies, yours or someone else's.
  2. Do a brain and verbal dump of the process and milestones on the way to the dream outcome. How exactly did you, or your client, get from A to Z?
  3. Build a timeline of what you just dumped, so there is a clear sequence and progression.
SIMPLIFY
cut it down to the essentials
  1. Group related steps together and reduce the list down to the essential milestones.
  2. Identify the core challenge of each milestone.
REPACKAGE
make it easy to follow and remember
  1. Simplify the process so it is easy for your clients to follow. Keep it to three to five steps. If you have ten to fifteen, condense it to the bare essentials.
  2. Pick and name a model shape: pyramid, timeline, steps, table, cyclical circle, or a star for five steps.

Your finished Signature Method, on one page

Here is the shape of what you build in the toolkit. One named method, one Hell to Heaven, four to six milestones each with its core challenge, and a model shape people can picture. This is the finished output the AI Implementation Toolkit walks you to.

Your Signature Method
Your memorable name

The one short name you will use again and again. It takes time, and that is fine.

From: Hell

The one starting point this process is built around.

To: Heaven

The one result you want to be known for.

Your 4 to 6 milestones, each with its core challenge
1 Foundations or Mindset
2 Milestone two
3 Milestone three
4 Milestone four
5 Milestone five
6 Milestone six
Your model shape

One shape you can draw in a breath. Pyramid, timeline, steps, table, cyclical circle, or a star for five steps.

The whole lesson in five lines

Save this. It is the fast version you can come back to any time.
